SHA Dean's Student Advisory Board Spring 2017 Projects

    Initiated by Box submissions

    The "Box" Revitalization

Aetheline Chua, Thomas Johnson, Eri Kato, Alynnah Kassam

The SAB is undergoing a semester-long effort to increase the efficiency and credibility of The Box. Sub-initiatives include the creation of this website, a transformed look, a Box Newsletter and a promise to consider all suggestions on ways to make SHA even better.

We encourage SHA students to make use of this channel to express any of your questions, comments or concerns. These will be reviewed and answers will be published in a monthly e-newsletter.

    Mac's Cafe Reconfiguration

Armaan Nirh, Nelson Billington, Thomas Johnson

A small sub-team within the SAB has been tasked with actively exploring the possibility of changing table configuration in Mac's in the hopes of making seating more available during peak hours. We are working with the Statler Hotel and SHA facilities staff on this initiative.

    Curriculum Review

The Hotel School faculty is currently undertaking a curriculum review to ensure that classes in our core provide the best possible value to undergraduate Hotel School students. The committee is interested in hearing students’ perspectives on this question: “What should every graduate of the Hotel School know?” Feel free to share your response to this question via The Box or with any member of the SAB.
